What is included in Brampton lawn care?

Lawn care in Brampton with us means a weekly cut from May to October, string trimming along fences and walkways, edging along the driveway and curb, and handling the clippings. Aeration can be bundled into the monthly price, while cleanups, overseeding, sod and hedge work are quoted separately.

Brampton lots fall into two broad groups. Newer subdivisions such as Mount Pleasant, Fletcher's Meadow and Credit Valley have small front lawns, narrow side yards and long townhouse rows, where most of the work is careful trimming around driveways and walkways. Older areas like Bramalea and Heart Lake have bigger backyards and mature trees, so leaves and shade take more of the visit.

How does Peel Region yard waste pickup work in Brampton?

Peel Region collects yard waste weekly in Brampton, and the 2026 season started the week of March 9. It goes out in kraft paper bags or labelled reusable containers by 7 a.m. on pickup day. Grass clippings are not accepted at the curb, so how your mowing crew deals with clippings matters.

Peel is strict about the bags. Kraft bags have to weigh under 20 kg (44 lb) and be smaller than 66 cm wide and 90 cm high, and plastic bags of yard waste are not collected. Reusable bins must be marked 'yard waste', stay under 20 kg and hold no more than 125 L. During a fall cleanup we bag leaves and garden debris to those rules, so nothing is left at the curb.

Who clears Brampton sidewalks and driveway windrows?

On most residential streets, you do. Brampton's Snow and Ice Removal By-law gives owners and tenants until 11 a.m. the day after a snowfall to clear their sidewalk, and City crews do not return for the windrow, the ridge of plow snow left across the bottom of your driveway.

The City clears sidewalks along primary roads, in front of City property and on Brampton Transit routes. Elsewhere, a complaint can bring an Order to Comply with eight hours to finish; after that the City hires a contractor and adds the cost plus fees to your property taxes. Shovelling snow onto the road is not allowed.

Seasonal snow removal in Brampton is a November 1 to April 30 contract, paid in six monthly instalments. The plow truck and shovel crew come once snow reaches 5 cm (2 in), clear the driveway, walkways and front steps, salt them and pile the snow on your property. Residents 65 and older, or with a permanent physical disability, can claim up to $300 of hired clearing back from the City ($400 on some corner lots), with receipts. Our snow tips for Brampton homeowners cover the shovelling side.

How much does lawn mowing cost in Brampton?

Weekly lawn mowing in Brampton starts at $150 a month on a residential lot, May to October, covering trimming, edging and clippings. Corner lots, long fence lines and backyards reached through a narrow side gate take longer, so those are priced from your address and a photo.

Townhouse complexes, small plazas and office lots need a different contract. Our commercial lawn care starts at $300 a month for a small commercial lot, with a written scope. For homes, the best value is weekly lawn mowing paired with fall core aeration, because subdivision lawns are often laid over soil packed down by construction traffic. Brampton landscaping: cleanups, sod, aeration and interlock

Brampton landscaping work with us covers spring and fall yard cleanups, core aeration and overseeding, new sod, mulch and garden beds, hedge trimming and interlock walkways or patios. Each job is priced by quote, and early fall is when we push aeration and seeding on tired subdivision lawns.

Two local rules shape this work. Brampton needs a permit to remove a private tree that is 30 cm or more in diameter at 1.37 m above the ground and more than 2 m from an occupied building, so check before a patio plan assumes a tree can go. Peel Region recommends watering before 10 a.m. or after 7 p.m., deeply and less often, which is the routine we leave you with after sod installation or aeration and overseeding.

Brampton: common questions

Which parts of Brampton do you cover?

We take lawn and snow clients across Brampton, including Mount Pleasant, Fletcher's Meadow, Springdale, Castlemore, Heart Lake, Bramalea and Credit Valley. We are based in Milton and also work in Mississauga and Caledon, so send your address and we will confirm your route day.

Will Peel Region pick up my grass clippings?

No. Peel Region does not accept grass clippings at the curb or at its Community Recycling Centres. Clippings are handled on every weekly cut, and finely mulched clippings left on the lawn feed the soil.

Does the City of Brampton clear the snow at the end of my driveway?

No. Brampton says the windrow left by road plows is unavoidable and crews do not go back to remove it, so the homeowner clears it. On a seasonal contract, our crew clears your driveway, walkways and front steps whenever snow reaches 5 cm (2 in), with salt included.

How much is snow removal in Brampton?

Residential snow removal is priced by driveway size and layout, so a single driveway in Springdale and a wide double driveway in Castlemore will not cost the same. The season runs November 1 to April 30 in six monthly instalments, and the quote is free, usually same day.

Do you offer commercial lawn care in Brampton?

Yes. We maintain commercial lots, small plazas, townhouse complexes and office grounds, starting at $300 a month for a small commercial lot. Commercial plowing, walkway shovelling and salting are quoted per site after a free visit, with a written scope.
